But in defending the escalation he has withheld speculation on any expectation by saying it's too early. All the troops aren't even there in place yet. June. June is when all is to be in place. June, July, then September. Is there any reason to think this administration will pass judgment on their precious war with less than three months of operations? No. And he has spoken to the issue of whether a contained, monitored Hussain was better than the festering, violent, al Qada heaven that this war has created. He said no.
